Total War: Warhammer is designed to offer unique mechanics for all the featured factions and a new video from The Creative Assembly finally offers fans of the series and the Games Workshop fantasy world a look at the way the dwarves interact with the campaign map and how they use their powerful Book of Grudges.
The Dwarfs are a race introduced in Total War: Warhammer. They have four playable factions and five Legendary Lords to choose from. The Dwarfs are an ancient, proud race of warriors and craftsmen who dwell in great halls deep under the mountains. Easy to offend, they record every grudge in a great tome, written in the blood of kings. The seven-minute-long video does not feature any battles but shows how the race can use its unique technology and units in order to try and recapture all the ancient fortresses that are scattered across the world and are occupied by members of other factions.
The Dammaz Kron, the Great Book of Grudges, is unique to the Dwarves and allows them to record all the ways in which they have been slighted by their rivals and players will have to use their forces to clear it in order to get unique rewards.
The race is very stubborn and leaders will have to keep fighting and winning in order to keep them satisfied.
The Creative Assembly states, 'As your campaign progresses, slights against you will generate a rapidly increasing list of scores to settle, and the more outstanding grudges, the more the Dwarfs will grumble…'
Total War: Warhammer will be launched on April 28 all over the world and can only be played on the PC.

Dwarves are one of the four core faction in Total War: Warhammer, and all of them will have unique ways to interact with the campaign map and a variety of units and special powers that they can use on the battlefield, each with two Lords that can lead it during a campaign.

The Empire is more diplomatic than the rest and can include minor factions in alliances while deploying mostly professional soldiers, which include Steam tanks, powerful wizards and flying knights.
The Dwarves are more defensive, focused on driving by their grudges while the Greenskins focus on numbers and can get access to a lot of resources by raiding more civilized areas.
The Creative Assembly has so far not offered any kind of details about the mechanics associated with the Vampire Counter, undead that normally inhabit a small area of the game world.
Warhammer Total War 2 Chaos Dwarfs
Those who place a pre-order for Total War: Warhammer will also be able to get access to the Chaos warrior faction and publisher SEGA has already said that this title is only the first one in a series dedicated to the fictional universe.
